MM Law Firm News. From 9th to 10th December, 2017, Ms. Jane Li, partner of MM Law Firm, participated a training course for leading talents of foreign-related lawyers in Guangdong and talent certificate award ceremony. At the opening ceremony, Liang Zhen, the deputy director of Department of Justice, Guangdong, delivered a speech and awarded the certificate to the leading talents. Themed “Resolution of International Commercial Dispute and Arbitration”, the training is the first session following establishment of the leading talent pool of foreign-related lawyers, aiming at better facilitating the Belt and Road Initiative, improving the foreign-related legal service in Guangdong and meeting enterprises’ demand for legal service in their “Going Global”.
In September of this year, Guangdong Lawyers Association officially initiated efforts to establish leading talent pool of foreign-related lawyers. Through strict selection, 135 lawyers were finally selected into the leading talent pool. Ms. Li made her way to the leading talent pool with her incredible experience providing foreign-related legal service and numerous successful cases she handled. In recent years, Ms. Li and MM Law Firm’s international team led by her, have established an excellent reputation, for providing full legal support to domestic enterprises such as Livzon Pharmaceutical Group Inc., Zhuhai Livzon Diagnostics Inc., Livzon Mabpharm Inc., and Zhong Zhu Holding Co., Ltd. etc. for their overseas investments, M&As, and also to foreign entities like Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, IDA International Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, MGM and The Zippertubing Co. etc. for their investments in China.
