On Sunday afternoon, December 3, 2017, an enlarged meeting was held by MM Law Firm Party branch of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to further learn the President Xi's Report to the 19th CPC National Congress (“Report”). Mr. Wu Youming, Secretary of MM Law Firm Party branch and the Firm’s Director, convened and presided over the meeting which started with open exchanges among the attendees of their understanding in learning the Report. Later, Mr. Wu gave his elaborate interpretation of core issues in the Report in context of CPC’s significant historical events and China’s development path since its founding in 1949.

Through learning and discussion, attendees unanimously held that the Report is of great historical and realistic significance. The Report is explicit in theme and full of highlights where it has comprehensively reviewed and summarized the work and historic change achieved in the last past five years and has given shape to Xi’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and fundamental strategy thereof. Furthermore, it has drawn up the blueprint for building moderately prosperous society in all respects, building a great modern socialist country and realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized in the Report on carrying out extensive Fitness-for-All programs and speed up efforts to build China into a country strong on sports. After the meeting, MM Law Firm organized a hiking themed “Promote the19th CPC National Congress and Do Fitness for Stronger Country”, started from the office building, via Jingshan Road and Haibin Park, along the romantic Qinglv Road to Meiliwan Bay, the destination. Participants could view the splendid city building landscape in Zhuhai and enjoy the outdoor fitness along the way.
