Dr. Wu Youming re-elected Vice Chairman of the IJAC of ZMPC

The year of 2017 comes with leadership transition of the People's Congress, the People's Government, the People's Court and the People's Procuratorate in Zhuhai. The 9th Zhuhai Municipal People's Congress (ZMPC) has just successfully concluded its 1st session, during which Guo Yuanqiang was elected Chairman of ZMPC Standing Committee, Chen Ying, Guan Yingyan, Huang Rui, Tian Zhongmin, Wu Qingshan, Wang Hongqin Vice Chairmen of ZMPC Standing Committee, Zheng Renhao Mayor, Wang Qingli, Liu Jiawen, Shi Ming Feng, Lu Xiaofeng, Zhang Yisheng, Yan Wu Vice Mayors, Huang Jiongmeng President of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court (MIPC), Huang Weiyu Procurator-General of the Municipal People's Procuratorate (MPP).
Dr. Wu Youming, Director of MM Law Firm was re-elected Vice Chairman of the Internal and Judicial Affairs Committee (IJAC) of ZMPC. As a deputy in his second term, Dr. Wu has always been taking full advantages of his professional strengths and actively performing duties. His proposals and experience of duty-performing are classified as the training materials in duty-performing courses for newly-elected deputies.
As a special committee of ZMPC, IJAC's main functions are:
1. to report on its work to and operate in the service of ZMPC and its Standing Committee's fulfillment of functions and powers.
2. to deliberate on proposals and questions relating to internal and judicial affairs as submitted and addressed by Presidium and the Standing Committee of ZMPC, to file deliberation report, and to hear answers from the organs questioned.
3. to deliberate on and participate in draft of local laws, resolutions and decisions relating to internal and judicial affairs, and to file written deliberation report to ZMPC or its Standing Committee.
4. to deliberate on normative documents of the Municipal People's Government (MPG), MIPC, MPP and resolutions and decisions of the people's congress and its standing committee at the next lower level relating to internal and judicial affairs.
5. to keep in touch with the MPG, MIPC, MPP and other departments regarding to internal and judicial affairs, and hear reports on work if necessary.
