Ms. Jane Li Enters Guangdong's Leading Talent Pool of Foreign-related Lawyers
MM Law Firm News. From 9th to 10th December, 2017, Ms. Jane Li, partner of MM Law Firm, participated a training course for leading talents of foreign-related lawyers in Guangdong and talent certificate award ceremony. At the opening ceremony, Liang Zhen, the deputy director of Department of Justice, Guangdong, delivered a speech and awarded the certificate to the leading talents. Themed “Resolution of International Commercial Dispute and Arbitration”, the training is the first session following establishment of the leading talent pool of foreign-related lawyers, aiming at better facilitating the Belt and Road Initiative, improving the foreign-related legal service in Guangdong and meeting enterprises’ demand for legal service in their “Going Global”.
Learn Xi's Report to 19th CPC National Congress and Promote the Spirit
On Sunday afternoon, December 3, 2017, an enlarged meeting was held by MM Law Firm Party branch of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to further learn the President Xi’s Report to the 19th CPC National Congress (“Report”). Mr. Wu Youming, Secretary of MM Law Firm Party branch and the Firm’s Director, convened and presided over the meeting which started with open exchanges among the attendees of their understanding in learning the Report. Later, Mr. Wu gave his elaborate interpretation of core issues in the Report in context of CPC’s significant historical events and China’s development path since its founding in 1949.

On November 23rd, 2017, Zhuhai Business Forum—Conference on Overseas Investment Strategy of Going Global was held by Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and Zhuhai Bureau of Commerce at Xingguang Conference Centre of Zhuhai Holiday Resort Hotel. The forum intends to respond actively to Belt and Road Initiative, guide the enterprises to efficiently carry out M&As and help reducing the risk of overseas investment and accelerating the “Going Global” pace of enterprises.

Saluting the 19th National Congress of Communist Party of China (19th NCCPC), Speaker of Law-- Zhuhai Lawyers Speech Contest had its final race at three p.m. in Telecast Hall of Zhuhai Television Station on 16th September, 2017.Mr. Song Tingyu fully showed eloquence, elegance and calamity and won loud applause. Mr. Song finally took third after intense competition.
